Preparation & Challenges

📦 Delivery & Handling: Given the sheer weight, we carefully delivered the flooring and passed it through the basement window before installation.

🛠️ Subfloor Preparation: To ensure a flawless foundation, we cleaned the floor and poured 8 bags of self-leveling compound to eliminate any gaps or uneven surfaces.

🏗️ Custom Baseboard Work: We built custom boxed baseboards around metal support poles, seamlessly integrating them into the design for a polished and professional look.

🚪 Precision Trimming & Underlayment: We cut door trims to match the plank height and installed underlayment to protect the manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring long-term durability.

💨 Dust Control for a Clean Installation: When cutting flooring inside, we used a vacuum system connected to the saw with an automatic switch, which turned on the vacuum every time the saw was in use. This significantly minimized dust, keeping the work area clean and reducing airborne debris.

Final Touches & Stunning Results

🔹 After securing the vinyl planks, we installed baseboards and applied water-based caulking to fill any gaps between the walls and baseboards for a seamless finish.
