Our mission began with the thorough sanding of the hardwood floors in the specified rooms and all stairs to bare wood. This critical step is foundational in achieving a flawless finish, as it removes all previous coatings and prepares the surface for new treatment. Utilizing professional-grade equipment and precise techniques, our skilled technicians ensured a smooth base for the subsequent applications.

We then applied two coats of Bona’s Natural Acrylic Water-Based Finish, chosen for its exceptional clarity and ability to preserve the natural allure of the wood. To fortify the floors against the everyday wear of high-traffic areas, we completed the process with a coat of Bona HD Commercial Grade Finish. This robust top layer provides unparalleled durability and resistance, safeguarding the beauty of the floors for years to come.

Dust Control and Site Protection:

Aware of the importance of maintaining a clean environment, we implemented extensive measures to shield the surrounding areas from dust. The home’s library, television sets, and pathways to the kitchen were meticulously covered with painter’s foil. These precautions were critical in preserving the sanctity and cleanliness of these sensitive areas throughout the refinishing process.

After the floors were sanded and finished, we conducted an exhaustive vacuuming to ensure all traces of dust and debris were removed. This commitment to cleanliness allowed the homeowners to immediately enjoy their newly rejuvenated spaces without any additional cleaning.
