Upon arrival, we assessed the condition of the hardwood floors, noting significant wear and tear from everyday use. We began with a thorough sanding process to remove the old finish and smooth out surface imperfections, ensuring a clean and even base for the new finish.
To prevent dust from spreading, we covered everything with foil, ensuring a clean and controlled environment. We also removed the quarter rounds to sand the edges properly. After the refinishing, we reinstalled the quarter rounds and filled the gaps with white caulking for a seamless finish.
We then applied a natural, low VOC water-based finish to protect the hardwood and enhance its natural beauty. This eco-friendly finish provided a clear, durable layer that highlighted the rich grain and texture of the wood, ensuring longevity and resilience.
