Step 1: Removing Old Flooring Materials

The project began with the removal of old carpets and linoleum from the condominium. While removing the carpet was straightforward, the real challenge came with the linoleum, which was firmly adhered to the subfloor with an exceptionally strong adhesive. To tackle this, we:

• Rented a floor stripper machine from Home Depot to efficiently remove the glued-down linoleum.
• Carefully prepped the subfloor, ensuring it was clean, smooth, and ready for the new vinyl flooring installation.

• Prepping the floor was essential to achieve a flawless vinyl installation.

Step 2: Installing the Vinyl Flooring

Once the prep work was complete, we moved on to the installation of the wood-look vinyl flooring. To ensure a high-quality, professional finish, we followed these steps:

• Started by laying the vinyl along the longest outside wall for an even and visually appealing layout.
• Used spacers to maintain straight and even lines throughout the installation process.
• Installed the vinyl across key areas including the living room, kitchen, and entrance, ensuring a seamless transition between rooms.
