Stand Up Flooring, under the direction of Wojciech Puzniak, handled a hardwood floor refinishing project for Polish clients in Romeoville, Illinois. The homeowners were renovating their kitchen and needed repairs before they could install new cabinets. Our team tackled the kitchen floor repairs efficiently, ensuring that the new cabinets would have a stable surface.
After completing the necessary repairs, we sanded the kitchen, dining, and living rooms to bare wood using a dustless system. We then applied three coats of a water-based finish, which provided durability and enhanced the natural wood grain.
The water-based finish was chosen for its quick drying time and low odor, allowing us to work efficiently while revealing the warm tones and natural beauty of the wood. With three protective coats applied, the flooring was ready to withstand everyday wear and tear.
The homeowners were gracious throughout the project and showed their appreciation by gifting us homemade jars filled with produce from their garden, as well as a Robert Lewandowski soccer player t-shirt. Their kindness made the work all the more rewarding.
